INDenverTimes Pop Culture Podcast: March 9, 2010

Josh Mahler and Gray Brothers offer a few final thoughts on the Oscars, including: hosts Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, Kathryn Bigelow's historic win for Best Director, and The Hurt Locker knocking off Avatar for Best Picture.

Since they've been a little too gracious in Take It or Leave It the last few weeks, the guys return to form, teeing off on Jay Leno's return to The Tonight Show, the new Mark-Paul Gosselaar/Breckin Meyer TBS "comedy" pilot, and John Krasinski (Jim from The Office) potentially playing Captain America.

Enjoy!

What's up, Josh! I enjoyed yours and Gray's Podcast. I agree with you and Gray on a lot of pop culture opinions.
I saw Alice in Wonderland this past Friday on the opening night. The turnout was shocking to me as well, there was a line for the showings and the theater was packed! I will tell you that it definitely was good but not near as good as I had hoped. I love Tim Burton and as always, the visuals were top of the line and beautiful. However, I do not see it, in anyway, becoming the new definitive Alice in Wonderland.

David - thanks for the comment! And thanks for the "Alice" feedback. I had a hunch that it was going to be good to see Tim Burton's spin on it, but I just can't see it going down as the Greatest Version Ever.

Robbie - appreciate the comments as always!
